Roving Finance Manager
The role:
The role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
Qualifications and experience:
Essential
· MBA Finance, ACCA/ACMA Part qualified with 5 years of post-qualification accounting experience.
· 2 Years post- qualification experience in fragile states and outside home country.
· Experience of and well developed skills in staff management, supervision and capacity building
· Proven track record of supporting a senior management team, and providing strategic support across multiple sectors and/or regions
· Knowledge of the requirements of the major emergency donors and experience in budgeting and reporting to donors.
· Proven track record of capacity building of partners and development of partner financial management policies.
· Excellent planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organise a workload comprised of varying and changing tasks and responsibilities
· Strong communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in English, with experience in managing multicultural teams
Desirable
· Experience working with financial systems. i.e. Agresso, Sun system.
· Fluent in Arabic and English. Non- Arabic speakers will not be considered.
· Should have no difficulties for travelling within region. i.e. Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq.
Contract length: 12 Months
