We are looking for a Bid & Tender Engineers (electrical and Mechanical engineers)
Technically understanding of Scope of projects, comparison & evaluation of detailed specifications of Electrical and mechanical, Equipment’s, related to EPC, MEP l projects.
Leading main contractor company is currently recruiting for bid/ tender engineer to be based in Jordan.

A successful candidate will need to have experience bidding on major electro mechanical projects in Jordan and gulf area,

Duties & Responsibilities :
Study/Review of tender documents, scope of work, drawings, BOQ, specifications, client’s requirement and etc. from the tender documents for proper estimating works.
Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specifications and BOQ.
Prepare quantity and materials take.
Prepare & send RFQ for all the items to all the approved/ approved equal suppliers/ sub-contractor to obtain required quotations.
Follow up with the supplier/sub-contractor to obtain quotation in time.
Technical Evaluation of supplier/sub-contractor quotations as per tender requirements.
Pricing material and labor cost of each BOQ item in the price comparison sheets, by using the quotations and a pre–determined manpower production rates.
Preparing BOQ unit prices as per tender BOQ format and filling.
Check all the addendums and communications received from the client, ensuring that all items are being clarified and considered in the pricing.
Preparing Qualifications, Assumptions and Exclusions.
Preparing tender adjustment schedule with unit prices,
Preparing price analysis, proposed vendor list, data sheet and qualifications as applicable.
Attend Pre tender meetings and site visits.
Coordinate with project team for preparing project documents,
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality management system for Estimation work.
Produce Tender Quality Submissions (Quality question responses, technical responses, Tender Stage Method Statements Quality plan HSE plan etc.);
Coordinates with consultant regards approvals of drawings/material submittals related to all services.
Provide technical review of engineering reports, drawings and advice provided to Clients
Good Knowledge in Designing, Installation & Project Coordination

Qualifications:
Qualified Engineer must hold degree in engineering preferable Mechanical Engineer Or Electrical Engineer
Minimum 4 years of experience in costing construction project as estimated engineers
Good Mechanical/Electrical engineering skills.
Good technical skills. For project specifications
Very good knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 and Internal Audit.
Very good in AutoCAD.
Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.
