IT Support Officer.

Job Description
Implements approved departmental policies and procedures and ensures adherence with the processes implemented so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
Implements the day-to-day operations assigned & plans for the function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
Carries out the assigned work for the system/application, and develops simple solutions under supervision according to well-defined quality standards.
Assists in monitoring day-to-day work activity by vendors to establish progress; taking action as laid-down to ensure compliance with plan and contractual requirements.
Participates in the process of developing detailed technical planning for the assigned tasks on-hand.
Analyses business needs and ensures to capture the overall business requirements of automation.
Provides guidance, advice, training and technical back-up to lower level to assist in their development.
Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Develop and review of department Documentation such as Business blueprints configuration documents Functional specifications Test scripts.
