Team Lead, Full-Stack Web Developer
Job Description:
Be both, an active hands-on coder and an effective people manager.
Build an open, positive, and energized culture.
Help build and lead a high-caliber team of software engineers.
Collaborate with PM, engineers, and stakeholders in all corporate offices to promote communication and coordination.
Experience driving and retaining a high-performance team.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience with Web Application Frameworks (Ruby on Rails, PHP and Python) .
Extensive experience with version control systems (Git is highly desired) .
Extensive experience with the command line (Unix command line experience is highly desired).
Extensive experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB is highly desired) .
Experience with smartphone and desktop app development is a plus .
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services is highly desired .
Regularly communicates progress with project manager.
Makes decisions on what development tools and frameworks are going to be used for development.
Writes coding style and convention documents and makes sure developers under him follow them.
Reviews code written by other developers for any mistakes, bugs, or violations of code style, and teaches them how to avoid those mistakes.
Able to write efficient code and optimized code with minimal bugs.
Strong debugging, algorithm development, and problem-solving skills .
Able to identify and resolve resource overhead issues.
