Duty stations: Amman – Jordan
Project ref: Jayeen, Addressing health and protection needs of marginalized adults and children with disabilities, injuries and impairments from the Syrian refugee and Jordanian communities residing in Amman, Zarqa and Irbid governorates through comprehensive rehabilitation, mental health care and child protection interventions.
Project purpose:
Enhancing the quality of life for Syrian refugees and host community members with disabilities, injuries, impairments and mental health disorders, meeting their most urgent health and protection needs and promoting their inclusion and participation in the community.
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced finance and Admin Assistant who will be responsible for the day-to-day general financial and administration of the organization, assisting the Head of Finance and Administration and the Head of Mission and supporting the staff team.
Responsibilities of finance and Admin Assistant
· Register all expenses into the financial system according to UPP financial and administrative procedures
· Prepare and file all documents related to the finance and administration of the projects and the delegation
· Assist in the logistics and procurement of the office under the supervision of the Head of Finance and Administration
· Monitoring office running costs, facilitating paying utilities and consumables in accordance with UPP logistician under the supervision of the HoFA.
· Support the Head of Finance and Administration in any financial and/or administrative task as required
· Collect all financial documents from partners, suppliers etc
· Performing any other task assigned by the Head of Mission and the Head of Finance.
· Conducting field visits supporting UPP field staff when needed and as required.
· Translating official documents (Arabic to English and vice versa)

Qualifications of finance and Admin Assistant
· University degree in finance, accounting, business, or other relevant disciplines.
· At least 3 years experience in a Finance and Administration role with similar responsibilities
· Experience working with an international NGO will be an advantage.
· Fluency in English and Arabic (both oral and written).
· Strong computer skills (Word and Excel)
· Experience liaising with a range of stakeholders regarding financial and administrative issues.
