JOB OVERVIEW

Oliver Wyman Middle East is looking for highly skilled bilingual Translator for a 6-month contract starting in September 2023.

The ideal candidate will be a Saudi Arabian Citizen and have at least 2 years’ experience translating professional client materials between English and Arabic in a business environment (preferably in Management Consultancy or other professional services) and have good understanding of culture and language localization in the region. You will join our professional translation support function and get the opportunity to work on various industries which will help to build your career. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professionally translating between English and Arabic business and technical documents, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained, including:

– Published marketing reports

– Generic marketing presentations

– Client proposals

– Client presentations

– Other internal presentations and documents

• Liaising with clients to discuss any unclear points and consults with subject matter experts and project teams in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately
• Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation
• Uses highly specialized translation software to encourage efficiency and consistency
• Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation
• Adheres to industry quality standards to ensure that all completed work follows legal and ethical obligations

• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) and native in Arabic.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATION

• Should be proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Educated to Graduate level (Degree in translation/experience in the field)

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Fluent English and Arabic, written, reading and spoken.
