Senior Manager HSEQ in Saudi Arabia

For this bid we are looking for a Senior Manager HSEQ, based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HSEQ strategy aligned with project goals.
- Plan and establish HSEQ objectives, targets, and performance indicators.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project-related risks and hazards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee the development and implementation of safety management systems.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Develop and execute environmental management plans.
- Monitor and manage waste management practices, emissions, and resource consumption.
- Establish and maintain a quality management system.
- Develop quality control procedures and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify HSEQ training needs and develop training programs.
- Promote HSEQ awareness and safe work practices.
- Engage and collaborate with project stakeholders to address HSEQ requirements.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in HSEQ practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 20+ years of experience in relevant field.
- Excellent management skills.
- Experience of working on major projects / within large programme management offices (PMO’s).
- Ability to provide technical direction and creative vision to highly skilled teams.
- Process driven. Extensive experience of developing and implementing business systems / technical delivery processes.
- Programme level understanding of organizations; highly skilled in gap analysis and requirements capture.
- Analytical thinking; analytics, fault finding, continuous improvement.
- Client facing with excellent communication skills in English language; can communicate at all levels.
