Social Enterprises Director

Job Description
The Director of Social Enterprises is responsible to provide vision, leadership, planning, project coordination and management of the design and the development of an efficient and cost-effective division. To define and develop strategic objectives relating to the organization’s Designs, Food & Beverage, and Business Development to oversee the implementation and to facilitate efficient operations to meet current and future business needs.
Responsibilities:
-Identify, analyze, plan and manage multiple functions and operational processes along with providing strategic support and analysis for all Enterprises function requirements to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives
-Liaise with Director General and Executive Management to understand needs of Social Enterprises Division to ensure alignment of organizational goals
-Identify challenges and solutions to improve sustainable quality activities and services
-Develop a strategic business plan and budget for the Social Enterprises Division
-Convey organizational strategy to the team, sets department and individual targets and provides leadership direction to achieve goals
-Play a strategic part as a member of the Executive Management Team
-Ensure compliance with the organization’s operations and legal regulations
-Develop a strategic business plan

-Define and drive Handicrafts production strategy, understand business issues and drive all Handicraft activities.
-Ensure the planning, coordination, product development, production lines, costing process and all other related matters to successfully deliver production

-Ensure forecasting of production meets the sales demands

-Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to improve productivity.
-Ensure Handicrafts Production Centres and teams maintain and adhere to high quality standards and international best practice compliance

-Oversee the development, pricing, positioning, and promotions analysing the financial impact of product creation
-Develop a strategic business plan for the short and long term management of the food & beverage operations (including production, restaurants and catering operations) to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
-Ensure a high level of food & beverage quality standards are maintained and adhered to (HACCP)
-Coach, train and manage employees within the F&B
-Achieve budgeted revenues & expenses and maximize profitability related to the Food & Beverage division
-Contribute to guest satisfaction perception
-Increase guest satisfaction levels by delivering an improved product through employee development, job engineering and quality image
-Oversee the implementation of the strategic E-commerce marketing plan for the Division
-Ensures the organization’s brand is presented in a compelling and consistent manner across all digital platforms in coordination with Media & Communications Division
-Ensure the growth of digital marketing programs and multichannel analytics in partnership with the other divisions.
Skills
– Excellent English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
– Demonstrated program management experience in either private sector or NGO setting
– Proven track record of streamlining and implementing process improvements.
