Program Specialist Sales Ops
DESCRIPTION
Amazon is looking for a motivated individual with strong project management skills to join the Marketplace Sales Operations team. In this position he or she will be responsible for building the metrics, tools, and reports to support Amazon’s growth. In addition, he or she will evaluate opportunities and implement changes which improve the current capacity and optimize the standard operating procedures of the team.
As a member of the Business Operations team, this person will play an integral part in Amazon’s seller recruitment and performance management by successfully partnering with various operations, IT, and business developments teams to support new business initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
– Collaborate with business personnel to drive process improvements and cost savings
– Design the standard operating procedure to ensure self-service mode of operations for newly recruited sellers
– Manage the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly results reporting
– Lead special projects to drive improvement for the processes
– Provide deep dive analysis to guide business decision making
– Present analysis to higher level management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Fluent English
– 3-5 years experience in a project management or operations role in a relevant industry
– Good with business applications such as Word, Excel · Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Ability to write SOP (Standard operation processes) or guidelines
– Ability to prioritize and understand constraints in both customer and Amazon terms
– Ability to establish credibility and work with key internal partners to get things done (you will work with Sales team, business developers, technicians, senior internal stakeholders)
– Highly articulate, persuasive communicator and a good writer
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Prior Business Process Management Experience Preferred
· Strong problem solving, highly analytical, attention to detail and solid organizational skills
· Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on project
