About the Candidate

The M&E and Institutional Knowledge Specialist will play a main role in designing and implementing comprehensive M&E systems, tools, and processes that effectively assess the impact and success of our cultural programs and initiatives, while ensuring that the activities and programs align with the organization’s strategy and action plans to achieve the desired outcomes in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor programs and projects to ensure they achieve their goals and align with desired outcomes in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Participate in updating the monitoring, evaluation, and institutional knowledge framework in accordance with the organization’s strategic plan and high standards.
• Assist in developing and updating performance indicators for the organization’s programs, while ensuring their alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Provide support in the design and development of methodologies, systems, procedures, tools, and best practices for monitoring, evaluation, and institutional knowledge.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of programs and projects according to predefined objectives and results.
• Collect and analyze data related to the organization’s activities and programs.
• Prepare and provide detailed analysis and reports on the performance, challenges, and achievements of programs and projects, in comparison to the strategic plan objectives.
• Conduct field visits to verify the accuracy of collected data and ensure its reliability.
• Collaborate with department or program directors to monitor performance, address challenges, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Report risks and challenges facing program implementation to the immediate supervisor.
• Compile and provide presentations and reports for internal or external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the immediate supervisor to align monitoring, evaluation, and institutional knowledge activities with program objectives.
• Participate in developing annual work plans, ensuring the inclusion of monitoring and evaluation indicators and activities.
• Collaborate with the immediate supervisor to enhance employee competence in designing evaluation indicators, data collection and analysis, and conducting relevant evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, public administration, cultural studies, Industrial engineering) required; advanced degree preferred.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, with a focus on cultural or arts programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong understanding of institutional knowledge management concepts and best practices.
• Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, presentation, and visualization, with proficiency in relevant software.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
