Job Description
- Participates in the development and implementation of Supply Chain department policies, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Manages the day to day operations of Supply Chain department providing some guidance in facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
- Contributes to the preparation of the Supply Chain unit budget and ensures that the activities within this unit is implemented and processed as per the assigned budget.
- Manages the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Supply Chain unit activity is carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
- Developing the demand and supply function’s work plan; assigning work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow, reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures, and directing such activities to serve the function goals and plans.
- Managing the demand forecasting process to generate accurate forecasts that help in reducing inventory costs.
- Acts as source of specialist procurement management to teams of engineers and officers on critical items to complete operational and planning tasks and allocates activities cost effectively.
- Identifies and resolves purchasing issues on major items to ensure that the activities are within budget and aligned with the set plans.
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and customers’ contracts to ensure the continuity of the materials’ supply and availability.
- Deals with more complex problems with major suppliers and high annual volume which have been referred for attention.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to be a part of our biosimilars team.
As Sales Manager you will be responsible to lead your team in KSA to promote our biosimilar products and act as ambassador for the wider company in order to meet sales targets. You will manage and develop a team & work with different partners across countries, and be a key participant in setting strategies and determining business plans related to assigned products or customers.
Reporting to GCC & Jordan Sales Manager, your key focus will be to:
- Achieve sales and activity goals for KSA
- Manage team sales promotion activities
- Participate in the development & monitor the implementation of procedures & systems that ensure the success of the business in KSA & ensure adherence of teams and agents to these systems and procedures
- Facilitate the attraction, hiring and motivation of sales staff
- Coach and mentor subordinates and appraise their performance
- Assist in the preparation of the budget and ensure that activities within KSA are implement as per the assigned budget
- Implement and track short and long range sales and marketing plans.

Role Overview
To maximize company product value through high scientific quality communication with Leading Specialists on a peer-to-peer basis. Through activities in line with the Medical Plan, the MSL is jointly responsible for the realization of short-term and long-term company goals.
To be a therapeutic area scientific expert, responsible for discussing our products, patients’ treatment trends and studies in the therapeutic areas in which we are involved, on a peer-to-peer basis with defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other partners) and to be considered a trusted scientific counterpart.
This role will report to MENA Medical Manager.
The role is field based with 70% of the time external expert visits.
Duties and Responsibilities
•To keep abreast of the medical and scientific knowledge.
•Continuously update their knowledge of products, patient’s treatment trends and clinical activities and studies conducted within the therapeutic area in their region.
•Development and maintenance of a contact network with Leading Specialists.
•Understands their needs, key value drivers, practical treatment patterns and scientific activities within therapeutic area
•Through scientific interactions, champions medical benefits of products and contribute to foster innovative approaches
•Represents the company within therapeutic area professional associations in cooperation with Medical Advisor/ Medical Manager
•Proactive and reactive communication of medical scientific data to Leading Specialists.
•Responds to unsolicited scientific queries of customers for approved products and products/indications in development, based on Medical Information documents
