يعلن مركز الحسين للسرطان في عمان – الاردن عن حاجته الى :
 
1- Clinical Dietitian
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform the consultation for patients in need for parenteral nutrition, calculate the required calories, nutrients, vitamins and trace elements after coordinating with other departments and concerned physicians.
  • Make recommendations regarding method of enteral tube feeding, type and volume of the formula, monitor the nutritional progress of the patients and the tolerance of the feeding minimum twice weekly as per Enteral Nutrition policy.
  • Attend daily ICU / PICU rounds, and the weekly management rounds with clinical departments.
  • Attend adult and pediatric nutrition clinic.
  • Cooperate with other health care services as speech therapy and pharmacist to provide comprehensive nutritional care to the patients. 
  • Participate in preparation of educational material for patients.
  • Review the diet lists for the inpatients, assure compatibility with the physicians order, and document that on ATS system
  • Prepare dietary orders for the patients’ meals and coordinate with cooks in kitchen.
  • Participate in quality related issues and research project of nutrition unit.
  • Train internal and external trainees on different nutrition settings and perform and attend presentations and lectures to the unit staff.
Education & Professional Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in clinical nutrition and dietetics or Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food technology.
  2. 2 years of experience in a well-recognized hospital/clinic for B.Sc. holders in clinical nutrition and dietetics
  3. 4 years of experience in a well-recognized hospital/clinic for B.Sc. holders in nutrition and food technology.
  4. Ability to work under pressure.
  5. Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
 
2-  Psychologist
 
Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Providing psychological assessments of patients and families to identify emotional and environmental strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, illness, treatment, and/or life situation, by using evidence based standardized assessment tools.
  • Performing neuropsychological testing, cognitive evaluation and communicating effectively and sensitively the result of these assessments orally and in a written format.
  • Formulating, developing, and implementing a comprehensive psychological intervention plan including crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family and/or group therapies.
  • Providing consultative services to health care team members within scope of care definitions as needed.
  • Providing education to patients and families around issues related to adaptation to the patient’s diagnosis, illness, treatment and/or life situation.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary treating health care teams.
  • Contributing to the academic mission of the medical center by participating in academic activities such as committees, conferences, publications, teaching and research.
  • Documenting assessment, plan, interactions, and interventions according to hospital and departmental guidelines and standards.
  • Maintaining confidentiality around patient and family information.
  • Maintain records and statistics in accordance with department, hospital, and medical center policies.
  • Attending and participating in staff, committee and department meetings.
  • Participating in department, hospital, and medical center continuous quality improvement efforts.
  •  Staying abreast of advances in related field through self-development, training, and research.to increase further enhancement of job related knowledge.
.Education & Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):
  1. Master degree in Psychology
  2. PhD degree In Psychology or any related field is a plus
  3.  Professional Practice certificate in Psychology  is a must
  4. 1 years’ experience for PhD degree Holder , 2 years’ experience for Master degree Holder
  5. Excellent command of oral and written English as well as organizational skills.
  6. Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
