Terms of Reference-Mentoring and coaching Consultancy
Objectives
NRC Jordan seeks a consultant(s) experience in designing specialized mentoring and coaching support programmes to be implemented by the NRC T2E team in Jordan. The Primary Objectives of the Consultancy are:
- Enhance NRC Jordan’s understanding of the models of mentoring and coaching, how they can be applied to employment service programming, and what are the best practices for refugee integration
- Define the mentoring and coaching needs of Syrian refugees and Jordanian job seekers entering the entry-level or semi-skilled labour market
- Define the mentoring and coaching needs of Syrian refugees and Jordanians employees that work for employees that participate in the T2E programme
- Design mentoring and coaching service package for pre and post-placement T2E participants the reflect the needs of the specific target population, and that promotes increase engagement from job seekers and improved retention from employees
- Build the capacity of NRC and partner staff on the Mentoring and coaching service package through comprehensive trainings on all tools developed
Required Competencies
Qualifications of the consulting company

Experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in designing, conducting and carrying out assessments focused on mentoring and coaching programming
- Strong Analytical and Reporting Skills with experience in sampling methodologies, form generation, structured team trainings in data collection (qualitative and quantitative), and generating professional grade reporting.
- Graduate level degree in economics (development /labour), social development, or relevant theme (must justify)
- Understands and has experience with employment mentoring and coaching
- Background in assessing human resource systems, employment services, and/or livelihood interventions (desired)
- Country and/or Regional experience work experience and contextual understanding (e.g., Jordan Compact, Jordanian labour market dynamics, and key stakeholders)
