Job Summary

Sales engineer supporting commercial & technical solutions for Saudi Aramco and other sources of commercial business interaction. Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts revenue or its quality of service via personal contributions.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Developing first class relationships with Saudi Aramco and other service providers, local agencies and authorities.
  • Applying inherent technical expertise, and a solution oriented approach to providing product applications support, working closely with customers to propose solutions to challenges encountered in the field, whilst identifying new product applications.
  • Generate and submit commercial proposals to customers and demonstrate effective delivery of technical sales presentations to promote company products and service offerings.
  • Creating and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that adopts a targeted approach to key objectives, with the objective of growing market share and further differentiating our portfolio from competitors.
  • Securing opportunities to pre-qualify/tender for new product offering which is not necessarily pre-qualified by main client at present time. Coordinating the preparation of such pre-qualifications and tenders in conjunction with commercial, engineering, and operations support teams.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships internally, working closely with colleagues in all company locations, ensuring business performance is optimized, standards of customer service enhanced and new opportunities fully exploited.
  • Constantly monitoring customer specific strategic & operational factors, market size and competitor analysis and proactively share internally to ensure that current, reliable market intelligence is procured upon which sound business judgments can be based.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of products, product applications and technologies, conveying to existing clients any new developments which promote our client’s reputation for quality products and services.
  • Deliver sales and business opportunity forecasting through IFS.
  • Establish and maintain regular market reports, performance statistics and any other market information that will be required to monitor the effectiveness of the relevant target customer strategies.

Team Activities:

  • Attend in country specific sales strategy meetings
  • Contribute, seek assistance and guidance from co-workers regarding IFS and other business required software’s
  • Participating in internal and external QA & HSE meetings
  • Attend other internal meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Comfortable with employing an applications oriented approach to providing solutions to both technical and operational problems utilizing Interwell product portfolio.
  • Well networked at appropriate levels within Saudi Aramco, and possess the capability to leverage personal credibility and networks within the industry to our client’s advantage.
  • A pro-active self-starter, with the necessary drive, determination and social skills to develop commercially advantageous customer relationships that subsequently generate profitable business.
  • A resilient character possessing the highest degree of integrity, honesty and commitment.
