Software Engineering Team Leader (Web/Mobile)

As a contributor within the online platforms third-party tools and social networking solutions team, you will manage and lead a collaborative and skilled Agile team responsible for Digital Media Solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
▪BS in Information Technology / Computer Science or any related field.
▪Experience in leading a software engineering team.
▪5+ years of experience in developing, testing, and/or designing software applications. Experience prioritizing technical improvements in a product roadmap a plus.
▪Familiar with each layer in the LEMP stack from application architecture and system infrastructure points of view.
▪Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.
▪Understands web & mobile trends.
▪Versatile;comfortable performing a variety of roles and tasks within the company (examples include: development, technical leadership, training, requirements analysis)
▪Self starter, ability to work with minimal supervision.Equally skilled at working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
▪Ability to write quality and well-documented codes.
▪Expert in PHP7 and relational DBs.
▪Good knowledge of Unit Testing and Test Driven Development
▪Source control with Git.
▪Experience in integrating with third party platforms using different APIs
▪Experience in PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, etc.).
Skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
▪Leading a diverse team of both development and quality assurance to deliver high quality software that exceeds audience expectations
▪Developing the professional growth of direct reports, setting yearly goals and objectives as well as complete performance evaluations.
▪Assist with continual grooming of the product roadmap
▪Attracting and interviewing top talent within the local and national IT markets
▪Ensures HTML/CSS is cross-browser and standards compliant and meets accessibility/disability requirements
▪Provides technical leadership and assumes overall accountability for a successful implementation phase on all online platforms.
▪Overseas employees, freelance web developers and partner web developers, ensures technical solutions are properly architecture and specified, and reviews all code for quality assurance.
