Senior IT Officer is required to work in a reputable shipping company, Mediterranean Shipping Company- MSC Jordan.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience
Excellent English and Business writing skills
MCSE
A+
Experience in Nutanix
Experience in cloud services
Experience in window server 2012 R2 up to 2019
Helpdesk system
Goal oriented
Security knowledge is a must
CCNA is extra
Key responsibilities
Identify, isolate and repair computer equipment showing wear and tear as well as during preventative maintenance routines.
Support for all 1st line issues to Servers, Desktops, Laptops and peripherals.
Handling incoming incidents via the phone / e-mail promptly and effectively.
Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues over the phone.
Take ownership of a call and seeing it through to closure.
Escalating calls and issues where necessary to support teams.
Investigating and implementing ways of reducing calls to the Help Desk.
Ensuring that all call details are captured and entered in the logging software.
Updating support documentation.
Answering & responding to all calls & requests within agreed time scales.
Keeping users updated as to progress.
Provide troubleshooting and configuration support for networking environment.
(Wired and Wireless).
Excellent Knowledge in Active Directory, ISA Server, Exchange Mail servers, and backup solution (Veeam), Hyper V.
Knowledge with Nutanix Servers
Work on different windows platforms (Windows 8 and Windows 10).
Responsible for security issues (Viruses, Spam’s, Vulnerabilities…etc.)
Experience in IT budgeting
Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
Server administration and maintenance.
