To handle all procurement activities to include liaising and keeping up with suppliers regarding purchase orders according to the policies and procedures, preparing and maintaining purchase records and assisting in setting the standards and specifications for purchased materials and equipment

· Develops purchase orders in line with the policies and procedures to ensure projects are implemented within schedule and the requirements of stakeholders are met

· Liaises with suppliers on the contracts terms and agreements, to ensure alignment with the requirements

· Builds and maintains relationships with the suppliers to ensure that the orders are received on a timely manner with the required quality

· Acquires minimum 3 prices from suppliers for comparison (if the order is new/first time), arranges the committee meeting in order to choose the most fitting and cost effective product and/or service

· Prepares and maintains purchase records, reports, and price lists to ensure accuracy of information

· Issues the documents needed to pick up an item from the warehouse or receipts for the warehouse to receive purchased order to ensure the right tracking of the items and their conformance to the requirements

· Assists in deciding the standards /specifications in which equipment/materials are purchased to ensure high quality

· Scans the market for price changes in order to adapt and get the prices that meet the organizations requirements
