Local Purchasing Officer
An international manufacturing company which specialize in manufacturing, is hiring an experienced Purchasing Officer to support the Supply Chain Department.
Working location will be in Al Mwaqqar- Amman, with guaranteed transportation:

Main Responsibilities

· Research potential vendors
· Request quotes and compare prices for maximum ROI
· Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
· Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
· Track orders and ensure timely delivery
· Review quality of purchased products
· Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
· Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
· Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
· Prepare annual budget.
· Collaborate with financial team members on contracts, invoicing, and other financial matters
· Ensure all deliveries contain all goods requested

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Proven work experience as a Procurement officer
· BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
· Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
· Hands-on experience with purchasing software, ERP & Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong knowledge of procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Understanding of supply chain sop , policy & systems .
· Leadership skills and ability manage staff
· Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills
