Accountant Officer, Jordan

Project Tarjim is looking for qualified accountant officer with the following responsibilities:

– Make the main accounting entries and verify their compliance with the supporting documents
– Verify the matching of the balances of all the sectors that the company deals with, including creditors, debtors, banks, etc.
– Control over sales invoices and the resulting receivables balances through periodic reports and according to the approved system for following up receivables
– Update internal systems with financial data
– Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
– Reconcile bank statements
– Participate in financial audits
– Track bank deposits and payments
– Assist with budget preparation
– Review and implement financial policies

Requirements:
– University degree / major in accounting or finance
– Accounting training courses
– 1-2 years’ Experience
– Good in English, writing, reading and speaking
– Knowledge of governmental laws and procedures (tax /Social Security / labor law).
– Multi-tasking
– Time Management Skills
– Good knowledge of accounting program (QuickBooks)
