Livelihood Officer T2E Nationals Only

Duties and responsibilities
The Livelihoods Officer will be supporting the Technical Officer in fulfilling project partners’ needs through advertising for positions, registering job-seekers, filtering based on selection criteria and providing short-term employability and soft skills trainings.
Qualifications
Specific responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Team Leader in regards to projects service provision
- Write comprehensive job announcements
- Act as a liaison with project partners
- Organize, conduct and lead registration days
- Populate job-seekers database and use it to filter qualified applicants
- Organize, conduct and lead soft skills and employability trainings for job-seekers
- Ensure the documentation of all processes and follow set SOP’s
- Allocate new channels to disseminate announcements which helps in reaching out to more qualified job-seekers
- Collaborate with local communities to spread awareness of the project
Generic responsibilities
- Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
- Implement delegated Core Competency project portfolio according to plan of action.
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.
- Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.
- Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.

Context/specific skills, knowledge and experience:
Qualification requirement: College/diploma degree or equivalent
Years of Experience: 2 - Experience in the Jordanian labor market, knowledge about foreign labor in Jordan is a plus
- Knowledge of the Jordanian labor law
- Experience in recruitment in general, recruitment agencies background is preferable
- Previous experience in providing employability and soft skills trainings is an asset

We can offer
Contract period: Through to 30 September 2020 (Renewal based on funding and performance)
Salary/benefits: 1024 JOD (subject to social security and Income tax)
Duty station: Irbid
