Qualifications and Competencies:
• A bachelor’s degree in mass communications, marketing, or other related field
• A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in general administrative assistance and communication
• Relevant experience with development organizations is a plus.
• Experience of using and managing social media for professional purposes
• Experience in using web-publishing tools for creating e-newsletters and updating website
• Demonstrated skills using the internet for research and communication
• Contacts with media outlets, creative agencies, and journalists and other media personnel is an added advantage
• Ability to plan, priorities, balance workload, and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and efficient
• Flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in Arabic and English
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
