Job Description

• Follows all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Leads and directs the technicians or operations teams within the shift to comply with the directions of the Engineering team.
• Monitors system performance and function after accomplishment of any recommended modification, maintenance task or significant event and special assignment.
• Monitors all maintenance faults, malfunctions,defects, deferred defects and other occurrences which could affect the continuing operations.
• Analyses components’ durability and failure trends and prepares preventive maintenance plans. Additionally, analyzes process and requirements and prepares operation plans.
• Provides technical guidance and coaching and support for technical or operation teams to ensure individuals are equipped with the necessary skills.
• Monitors the operating conditions, identifies and responds appropriately to problems, allocates or escalates them as necessary and monitors and records their rectification.
• Ensures compliance of operations under own supervision with the industry standards and requirements or regulating authorities.
• Trains subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Operations and Maintenance unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Skills

• Responsible for performing standard engineering.
• Assignments to solve problems and conduct operational studies and research to optimize the production,maintenance process and manage the cost of the operations.
