M&E Coordinator
Job description
The M&E Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical leadership and assistance on information management and monitoring, evaluation in the project. The M&E Coordinator will also ensure timely and quality implementation of the development and implementation of M&E systems and data collection tools focused on analysis and reporting to ensure quality reporting to the donor. Additionally, the M&E Coordinator will be taking the lead on development of a systematic and realistic monitoring plan, contribute to project design and reports during the implementation and evaluate the project on a regular basis and by the end of the project as well. Moreover, s/he will be responsible for taking the lead on quantitative and qualitative data analysis using different software in order to provide quality impact and evaluation reports.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the design, quality, development and completion of all assessments, analytical reports and evaluation (including Impact evaluation)
• Oversee and manage data collection processes, ensuring data is gathered in a timely and appropriate manner and to an acceptable quality.
• Provide regular and timely updates on progress and challenges to supervisors and other team members. Ensure lessons learnt and best practices are discoursed and documented.
• Update and present monthly progress VS achievement of the project
• Review, compile and submit monthly reports and assure data quality against the standards.
• Lead in the collection of positive impact stories and photos from CL project and prepare them to be used for shared learning as well as Unicef reporting, and other external stakeholders.
• Revise the content of stories and photos for both projects to be posted at the workplace.

Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor degree in development studies, economics, statistics, social sciences, or other relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in M&E
• Knowledge of program development, project cycle management and project documentation.
• Experience in development of M&E systems and tools for
• Experience with data management and the ability to structure/collate data sets for ease of analysis.
• Excellent qualitative/quantitative analytical skills and experience, with demonstrable abilities in Excel, Access, and/or statistical packages such as Stata, SPSS, and GIS platforms.
• Actively promote communication, learning and accountability, while demonstrating a commitment to capacity-building.
• Previous experience in managing teams is a plus.
