JOIN OUR TEAM Stars Group is a leading fashion retail company that operates award-winning brands such as (GEOX, SKECHERS, and CROCS) our chain of stores spread across Jordan.

We are interested in speaking with a professional to fulfill the following positions: Marketing Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager develops the necessary strategies and programs required to attract and engage consumers, reach/exceed financial goals, and build the brands by driving traffic, and revenue and maximizing efficiencies within the retail marketing group.

They will plan, execute and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs to deliver revenue growth and exceptional consumer experience.

This role is highly matrixed and requires the ability to work effectively across the marketing, creative, merchandising, and retail operations departments.

The successful individual will possess the following characteristics:

clear and concise communication skills, strong attention-to-detail and ability to manage a project from inception to completion, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Requires a high degree of cross-functional and global coordination across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and activate retail and market strategy plan to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage in the market (work directly with GM)

• Build and lead a marketing team towards achieving marketing debt. goals

• Develop, plan, execute and follow up a seasonal marketing plan in accordance with each brand’s guidelines and our company’s objectives

• Conduct regular marketing research and analysis to identify the trend and best practices in all marketing aspects including but not limited to competitors’ activities locally and internationally, and customers’ insights.

• Oversee and monitor digital marketing division to make sure that all marketing activities and contents are in full compliance with the medium policies as well as brands’ guidelines and our company’s values and culture.

• Develop and suggest innovative ideas that help maintain our brand set apart from our competitors.

• Make sure that all marketing activities (both offline and online) increase walk-ins to our physical stores and generate traffic to our online channel.

• Develop a marketing strategy to establish and maintain strong connections with the target audience and get on board new prospective customers.

• Develop a proper strategy to always get a pool of leads, as to identify prospects and convert them into customers.

• Collaborate with brands’ managers to set the marketing strategy as well as all media plans related to each brand.

• Develop KPIs for marketing campaigns as well as for marketing team as to evaluate the performance regularly.

• Identify and analyze the effectiveness of all marketing activities to reach the optimal marketing practice

• Make sure that all campaigns are communicating the right message to attract prospective customers and retain the existing ones

• Plan, execute, and oversee all aspects of marketing including but not limited to launches, offline advertising, social media, and events.

• Oversee all marketing content and ensure full compliance with the brand’s guidelines as well as the company’s values and culture.

• Deep understanding of the local marketing drivers and influencers to leverage them

• Analyze our existing customers’ data and sort them in order to design a marketing plan to target them according to their profile and behavior.

• Build strong relationships with people outside the company such as vendors, influencers, marketing agents

• Update seniors on the progress of marketing activities and report campaigns results. as well as all reports requested by each brand principle

• Identify our target audiences based on brands’ positioning

• Make sure that all business processes are documented.

My Expertise

I have 5 years of progressive in fashion retail marketing experience,

a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing,

a clearly defined retail marketing background and working knowledge of the marketing creative process,

Comfort level with working independently and cooperatively leading a diverse group with a bias toward action,

and Experience delivering effective and innovative retail marketing strategies across various media,

Ability to manage multiple direct reports, budget development and management experience,

incredibly detail-oriented,

Experience in managing multiple partners, service providers and agencies,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

Strong and effective creative department management and ability to lead and direct outside resources
