Accountant needed The Royal Health Awareness Society 

Qualification :

1)  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 

2)  Professional certification (such as CPA) is a plus

3)  2-3 years of relevant experience, experience in working with NGOs/Development organizations is an advantage

4) Excellent English Language

5) Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office programs) 

6) Knowledge of Accounting Systems “ALFA System is a plus”

Responsibilities:

Financial Statements and reports:

1) Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.

2) Prepare yearend financial statements to present to the external auditors

3) Work closely with the external and internal auditors

Bookkeeping:

4) Control expenses, issue payments and prepare all payment and journal vouchers 

5) Audit expenses and the supporting documents for all financial transactions and assure adherence with the financial policies and procedures

6) Prepare a filling system for all financial supporting documents according to the internal policies and procedures in addition to donors’ requirements

7) Prepare monthly bank reconciliations 

8) Manage all accounts receivable and payable
