Required for a well-known Group specialized in construction field:
Location: Shmeisani – Amman, Jordan
Position: Head of Finance
Experience in: Accounting
Professional background in: Accounting, Finance, Management.
Languages: Very good command of English.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Achieves accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
Prepares and completes action plans while resolving problems, determining system improvements and implementing change.
Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing an annual budget.
Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation and recommending new procedures.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Any other responsibilities that may be given by the direct manager.
Reports to Chief Executive Officer.
