The Power Grids business delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain – serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.

You as a Support Service Specialist will be part of Power Grids business based in Amman, Jordan. Reporting to the Country Managing Director, UAE & Gulf, you will be providing an auxiliary service to a Business Unit/Division/Country or Group. Engaging internal customers and drive efficient services in various administrative areas.

Your Responsibilities

• Service delivery: Provide a service to the relevant business to meet current needs, efficiently and effectively.

• Quality: Performs tasks to high quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Processes: Ensuring relevant processes, policies and procedures are correctly implemented and makes suggestions for improvement.

• External provider: Oversees the delivery of services by external providers in line with service level agreements and reports any shortcomings and areas for improvement.

• Safety and integrity: Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in country or government law, labor law and customs trading affairs.

• Strong communication and organizational skill. 

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English and Arabic language is required.
