Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty.  

The Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP) is a global partnership of humanitarian actors engaged in policy, practice and research within Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA). CaLP currently has over 80 members including UN agencies, Red Cross Red Crescent, local NGOs, international NGOs, donors and private sector organisations. Going beyond the membership, we work with many other agencies and individuals.  CaLP is based on learning, knowledge sharing, networking, policy and coordination around the appropriate and timely use of CVA in humanitarian response. CaLP does not deliver Cash and Voucher Assistance directly.

The Role 

The post-holder will support key functions and contribute to the implementation of the CaLP activities and objectives in the Middle East. The individual will assist with the planning and administration of all CaLP MENA activities and events in the region and for the administrative operations of the CaLP MENA office. This role will include working alongside Oxfam Jordan’s Logistics, Finance, HR and Admin teams as well as the CaLP team globally.

Our role will require a range of skills and experience.

 Essential

• Minimum undergraduate degree education in related subject.

• Excellent organizational and administrative skills

• Experience in Logistics and/or office management

• Excellent communications and writing skills in both English and Arabic

• Knowledge of or keen interest to learn about cash and voucher assistance and humanitarian response

• Strong skills in working with a variety of IT applications and software (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Shows initiative and able to work independently on assigned tasks

 Desirable 

• Experience working for an NGO in Jordan

• Experience working with remote teams in different locations

• Flexibility regarding working hours (fixed hours negotiable)

Contract Length: until the 31st of December 2020. renewable.
