Scope:

Under the general guidance of the Donor Relations Specialist, the intern supports the Country Office Partnership section’s generation and tracking of donor correspondence, donor reporting and funding proposals, with a focus on related internal and external communication and developing and/or maintaining administrative systems and databases.

Work Assignment:

• Collect/compile information/documents in response to donor requests and partnership agreements.
• Maintain electronic logs/trackers for funding proposals, donor reports, and active grants (i.e., those that track and summarize submissions and those that summarize donors’ support to individual programme interventions).
• Support the updating and electronic filing of donor briefs and profiles.
• Support and track/file the maintenance and quality of onsite donor visibility.

Estimate Duration:

Duration: 6 months (until end of April 2020)

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in Social Sciences, Political Science or a field related to humanitarian assistance
• Fluent in Arabic and English,
• Excellent writing, reporting and research skills,
• Exceptional drive for results,
• Exceptional working with people skills and team-oriented perspective,
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and any other data analysis/visualization tools,
• Cultural sensitivity.
• Excellent academic performance, as demonstrated by recent university or institution record
