Research Intern
INTERNSHIP PURPOSE:
Al Nahda Thought Center (ANTC) is providing internship opportunities for exceptional university students to experience being part of our team and help us in our efforts in building the capacity of our research center.
These interns are young individuals who will support and assist ARDD on conducting research. This practicum will provide an opportunity for interns to substantially contribute to our vision and to learn from our work. The interns will benefit from first-hand experience in assisting in various research activities such as data analysis, questionnaire design, and reporting.**
INTERNSHIP DURATION:
The internship is unpaid full-time. Interns work five days per week (40 hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Support the team in conducting desk reviews on required topics.
b) Support the team in the design and elaboration of research tools on required of topics.
c) Support the team in the implementation of research activities as needed.
d) Support the team on drafting research reports.
TOPICS OF WORK:
As part of our internship program interns will work on one of the below topics as part of their enrolment:
1) Development/Sustainable Economy for Refugees
2) Localization of Aid Programs
Requirements:
Candidates must have completed at least three years of full-time undergraduate or postgraduate education in the fields of Political Science, Policy Science, Human Rights, Law, or related social science.
