A leading wood manufacturing company in Amman is looking for an “Estimation Engineer” to join its Estimation Team with the following requirements:
- Bachelor degree of Industrial, Architectural or Civil Engineering
- Up to 3 years of experience (Fresh Graduates are welcomed)
- Past experience in Wood Manufacturing industry and / or proposals and cost estimate preparation is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Details and Quality oriented
- Very Good command of English language (Mainly Reading and Writing)
- Very good in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
- High analytical skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Review of Tender/Enquiries documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
- Clear Understanding of project requirements in terms of Bill of Quantities, Designs and technical specification
- All Needed coordination with Estimation Manager and other departments to prepare the financial and technical offers, including the preparation of products Bill of Materials based on design analysis.
- Assist in projects handover to projects and operation departments at project execution phase
- Prepare cost analysis reports whenever needed by top-management
- Assist Estimation Manager in other various departmental development work
