The Business Development Center – BDC is a regional development organization (NGO) working in the field of youth development programs, poverty alleviation, Strengthening societal integration of refugees, increasing competitiveness of SMEs, and fostering economic development.

Available vacancy: Procurement Officer

Desired qualifications:
–         4- 7 years of experience in Procurement.
–         Proficiency in Microsoft Office
–         Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively as a team member.
– Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1.           Assist in the distribution plan, organize and execute logistic support activities.
2.           Maintain and update logistics tracking sheet and stock level in the Wearhouse’s for all camps.
3.           Meet with new vendors and to check the quantity and quality of requested goods.
4.           conduct a regular visit to the market as per the project manager’s instruction to get new items information.
5.           Accompany all delivery processes for both camps to ensure the right recipient of the requested items.
6.           Request a price quotation from vendors and prepare a comparison sheet per the Project Manager’s guidance.
7.   Update the vendors’ list and the price list of all merchandised items.
8.   To prepare all permits for staff Materials and vendors.
9.   Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
