For this bid we are looking for a Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Expert, based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The Royal Commission of Makkah (RCMC) has invited a specialist consultant company to be following and supervising and managing the SCOPE OPERATION & MAINTENANCE CONTRACT of the Public Bus Network in Makkah project.

The project entails the construction of 439 bus stops and 4 Terminals, pedestrian crossings along 12 routes, and 400 buses (240 Local 12 meters, 160 Articulated bus 18 meters) that cover Stage I of the public bus transport.

The Operation Consultant shall prepare all Management plans, Monitoring, and Evaluation Guidelines intended to develop the current network and service that is used as a reference by stakeholders relating to the implementation of road based urban public transport services. Guideline for Operations Plan, Monitoring, and Evaluation of Road Based Urban Public Transport Services expected to be able to answer problems in the field to facilitate service realizing effective and efficient transportation services

• Design and develop an efficient and tailored PMS.
• Define maintenance requirements, schedules, and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate the implementation of the PMS across the bus fleet.
• Provide training and guidance to personnel on using the PMS effectively.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data related to bus maintenance activities.
• Monitor maintenance logs, track work orders, and analyze maintenance trends.
• Monitor and assess the performance of the PMS.
• Analyze key performance indicators and generate reports for improvement recommendations.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with technicians and ensure availability of spare parts and resources.
• Evaluate the PMS and maintenance processes for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with software vendors and service providers for PMS maintenance.
• Manage vendor contracts, evaluate performance, and address technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
