Job Purpose:
 

To ensure the smooth functioning of the Customer Service Centre, Ticket Sales desk, Information Desk and Access Control.

 

Job Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Guest Services SOP.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Ensure proficient up to date knowledge of Ski Dubai products, promotions and services, and provide training to the team.
  • Full detailed understanding of the ticketing, access control and call center systems.
  • Perform suggestive selling (up-selling strategy), advice and assist guests with sales and bookings.
  • Manage the guest service team during daily operations, including the information desk, ticket counters, and call center and access control.
  • Ensure correct reporting to finance on a daily basis. Ensure correct results in revenue reports and services.
  • Check staff time and attendance on a daily basis, generate working rotation and report the details to the Admission Manager.
  • Handle all guest complaints and queries.
  • Conduct Department orientation for new employees.
  • Ensure that all staff has been trained in the operational procedures and are aware of all the requirements for security and finance.
  • Invoice all credits through the correct procedure and ensure all paperwork regarding credits are dropped in the cash drop for finance purposes.
  • Attend and contribute to regular line management and team meetings (Daily briefings).
  • Work with the marketing department an various related activities.
  • Drive & monitor daily/monthly Conversion rate from the basic package to a higher package.
  • Drive & monitor daily/monthly the Lobby Conversion rate via the flash report sent by Finance on daily basis
  • Justify any Shortage/overage for any staff member by providing the needful supportive documents to Finance with HOD signature.
  • Monthly reports should be sent to HOD (Guest survey report / Overage & shortage report / Attendance report / Part-timers attendance report / EOM report) etc.
  • Weekly spot checks report must be sent to HOD (Guest Service Standard check list / Quality Check list ensuring the system is updated with the correct guest data) etc.
  • Maintain departmental inventory (key cards, wristbands, brochures) etc, & place an internal stationary requests as cartridges & so on.
  • Witness Admissions team cash drop without disclosing the sale of the day.
  • Manage Admissions queues & escort guest to the right counter.
  • Ensure that all admissions team meet / greet /welcome & farewell guests with a SMILE.
  • Report any system errors (Galaxy) immediately & follow up till sort it out.
  • Maintain track of Membership guest & built a data base accordingly.
  • Keep track of Staff data & ID Cards issuance.
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by your direct Manager / Duty Manager.
Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

  • Substantial ability to self-motivate and start with great sense of leading multicultural teams
  • Good verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Proactive person who is able to motivate others to achieve goals
  • Ability to supervise and lead the team with no manager present
  • Characterized with: passion, energy, drive, trustworthiness, delivery, process orientation and people focus.
  • Computer literate with proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications

 

Minimum experience

  • 3 years worked as a Customer Relation Representative in a big Shopping Mall / Hotel (or) Public Relations of a commercial firm.

 

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • High School Graduate with English language advanced verbal and written skills, Arabic desirable
