AVSI Foundation, an NGO created in 1972, carries out cooperation projects for development, with particular emphasis on education. In its work, its attention is focused on the defense and promotion of the dignity of the person, the cornerstone of every project. We work all around the world thanks to a network of 35 founding members and more than 700 partners worldwide.
AVSI Foundation has been operating in Jordan since 2006 and contributed in supporting the most vulnerable local communities, Palestinian, Iraqi and Syrian refugees through providing projects and activities that focus on health and psycho-social assistance, education, vocational training, and job placement and income-generating activities.
The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff
· Ensure job descriptions that are in place, are accurate.
· Participate in conducting staff performance evaluations in line with AVSI approach and Procedures.
· Identify training and development opportunities.
· Follow up and keep a record of employees Training.
· Provide assistance in developing human resource plans, and Team Building activities.
· Provide staff orientations.
Monitor staff performance and attendance activities.
· Monitor Monthly attendance.
· Investigate and understand causes for staff regular absences
· Establish an employee relation Procedure
· Report on a regular Basis about the HR Management in AVSI Field offices
Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process
· Provide regular updates and feedback on ongoing recruitments.
· Be actively involved in the recruitment process.
· Shortlist the applicant for Operation Vacancies and keep the record.
· Conduct reference checks on possible candidates
· Conduct exit interviews.
· Organize and manage staff orientation for new employees.
· Provide counseling on policies and procedures
· Keep a record of employees Benefits.
· Update employee Information on the system.
· Assist in generating the Monthly Payroll.
