HR Assistant – 6 month contract

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a HR Professional who will be able to perform the role of an HR administrative assistant. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, organized planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility. The candidate will possess the ability to complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and deadline sensitivity. As such, the candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and organizing logistics. Key to the position is the ability to keep the team organized, prioritized and on time while also serving as a “go to” for all areas and departments which dovetail with HR. This candidate will help foster a cooperative and communicative atmosphere.

 The position will serve as the single point of contact for all administrative, managing scheduling, project tracking and coordination of HRBP activities.



 The position holder will compile data, analyze and report monthly HR dashboard. The position will manager all onboarding, off boarding and payroll inputs.

 The person will be expected to co-ordinate and conduct round tables & exit interviews on need basis.

 The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for organizing meetings and developing materials for presentations, monitor/track meetings and provide direct support to the managers with regard to reports, planning important events, etc.

 This role is also responsible for managing multiple tasks and action items (documentation, follow up and preparation), ensuring appropriate and timely action on deliverables.

 The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred. Human Resources training and experience desired.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times – front line contact for employee issues.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
• Experience with Peoplesoft

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

 Excellent analytical skills.

 Acute detail orientation.

 Proficiency in MS-Excel.
 Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

 Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate effectively with remote business units.
