a) Monitor and Control Partners records to ensure proper recording and that every voucher is supported with the right documents ( which might include field visits to those partners)
b) Assist in issuing the petty cash vouchers and ensure complete documentations, according to ICMC policy & procedures.
c) Monitor the petty cash balance to ensure that all vouchers are entered properly and reconciled.
d) Maintain the bank account updated and reconciled.
e) follow up with local official entities ” Tax , Social security , Health Insurance …ETC to ensure proper records and relations with them
f) Maintain the filing system of the department in order.
g) Assist with various administrative duties, as required by the supervisor
Communication and Coordination:
h) Establish good and regular communication with project beneficiaries, ICMC partners and various service providers
i) In coordination with the Regional Finance Manager, communicate regularly with the UNHCR program staff
j) Establish good communication and coordination with all ICMC departments and project staff
k) Strictly follow the ICMC internal procedures and guidelines
l) Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
m) University degree in Finance or related.
n) Minimum two years’ professional experience, preferably in the NGO sector
o) Ability to work with spreadsheets
p) Experience in use of accounting software a plus
q) Sound understanding of financial regulations and procedures
r) Excellent English and Arabic written and oral skills
s) Excellent communication skills
t) Team player and self starter
