Must be available for occasional overtime to accommodate the work demand whether it is after hours, on Fridays or on Holidays.

The American Embassy Community Services Association (AECSA) in Amman has a vacancy for the position of Purchasing Manager.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for local purchasing activities and preparing orders for quarterly shipments from non-local distributors; maintaining records of goods ordered and received; reviewing inventories and ordering supplies as required; interacting with suppliers on a day-to-day basis; reviewing deliveries against orders, conducting research to determine best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedule, and quality. Additional duties include assisting AECSA management with pricing structure for goods and services and making visits to the MFA to assist with permits and residency permits for the 3rd country national staff members.
